Turnkey full renovation process in Barcelona

A full renovation is not won on taste alone — it is won on method. This guide explains the real process Nosolo Design uses to take a Barcelona (or Valencia) project from first contact to handover, with one technical lead and cost control.

1. Site visit and briefing

We review the property, existing services, community constraints and the target finish level. If an architect or interior designer is involved, we align design priorities and build risks from day one.

2. Itemised budget

We issue a measurable budget (not an opaque lump sum), with programme and terms. This is where scope is decided: demolition, MEP, joinery, bathrooms, kitchen and finishes. For market ranges, see the 2026 price guide.

3. Permits and kick-off

We coordinate permitting (minor/major works as required) with the technical project. Work does not start without a clear schedule and contract. More detail in Barcelona renovation permits.

4. Execution with digital tracking

Site manager, coordinated trades and a private panel for the client (and the practice, if applicable): progress, documents and communication. That is the difference between waiting for a call and controlling the job. See works tracking.

5. Handover and warranties

Final inspection, snagging and documentation. Warranties follow Spanish LOE and the contract. The goal is not to “close the site” — it is to deliver a result true to the project.

Quick FAQ

What does turnkey include?

Full coordination under one contract: structure/fit-out works, services and finishes, with a single point of contact.

How long does it take?

Typical works 3–6 months on ~100 m², plus briefing/permits. The programme is fixed in writing.

What if I am an architect?

We work as an execution partner. Start with contractor for architects or book a technical meeting.
